Its official. Just as President Obama signed the new healthcare bill into law our country moved another step further from what our forefathers had envisioned. In fact, I'm pretty certain I heard George Washington roll over in his grave! How can our government mandate healthcare in a democracy?
Our government has grown into a spoiled child that thinks it can do whatever it wants and it is the only one who knows best. Our welfare systems are pushed beyond their limits because our dear government has purposed itself that it must take care of it's citizens. Our government has made it easier to be "taken care of" than to become self sufficient. This has caused a disturbing downward spiral where our society no longer knows how to take care of itself. Our government has become so large and "all-knowing" that it is quickly erasing our great free enterprise system that has kept our economy strong.
Democracy, free enterprise, hard work and pride are no longer enough to get ahead in America. Now you need to be on subsidized healthcare, food programs and have credit card debt up to your eyeballs to be socially acceptable.....Something went wrong somewhere........
I vote that we re-elect NO ONE and start over with hard working citizens that have educations in specialized fields to help rebuild our nation. All those lawyers in DC just like to argue with each other!
