Adventures in braiding....All the pins on Pinterest have inspired my daughter to have me try the following braid. It turned out pretty good.

Step 1 - part hair so that enough is left all around head to create a braid and put the remainder up in a ponytail out of the way in the middle of the head.

Step 2 - start at the base of the neck and only pull hair from the outside of the braid. Keep braiding this way until all the way around to where you started.

Step 3 - Continue to braid it out or include it into another braid the way I did. Get creative and finish it anyway you want!

Relay for Life.... My husband and I are the new Team Captains for our Relay for Life team! I am both excited by this task and also a little overwhelmed. We are jumping in mid stride and taking the place of our former Captain so its all happening so fast!

Our Relay is June 1 but I know we need to have at least one fund raising event before then. We normally have a bake sale the Friday before Mother's Day and it goes pretty well. Say a prayer for us as we get our act together.
